Andy joined UrbanPromise in September, 2019 as its Chief Financial Officer after a 40+ year career in business/private enterprise. Prior to joining UrbanPromise, Andy had been a donor, sponsor, and Stewardship leader to UrbanPromise for almost a decade.
Andy’s career spanned a number of companies including PepsiCo, Nabisco, and MobileComm. He founded two successful Market Research companies (Rosetta and Clear Horizons) who were acquired by larger organizations (Publicis and YouGov, PLC). After YouGov’s acquisition of Andy’s company, he was promoted to President of YouGov’s U.S Operations and specialized in Political Polling, handling research efforts for The New York Times, NBC News, and the Economist. This summer Andy wanted to make a career change to “give back “by applying his skills to build God’s Kingdom and is delighted to have joined the UrbanPromise Team.
In his CFO role, Andy oversees all financial areas for the Urban Promises Ministries, supports the Leadership Team to provide resources for its mission, and liaises with UrbanPromise’s Board of Directors and Auditors to ensure stewardship of the Ministry’s assets.
When not working at UrbanPromise Andy and his wife of 36 years, Louise, enjoy family time with their two daughters and granddaughter. Andy’s hobbies are electric guitar/bass playing, restoring Victorian homes, and boating (Andy is a licensed Coast Guard Captain). He is a graduate of Colgate University and received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Andy is/has been a member of the TMRE, RLPSA, NRF, and ASIS Professional Associations.
