To create a flexible elementary program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. The K-5 teacher should establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for in accordance with each student’s ability.
The K-5 teacher is expected to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members. The teacher is also responsible for planning and implementing effective lessons in accordance with the standards set forth by the CamdenForward School of UrbanPromise Ministries and national NJ State and Common Core standards.
UrbanPromise is looking to hire a passionate and experienced individual for a full-time position directing an after-school program and summer camp. This person would organize, direct, and manage a faith-based after-school program and summer camp program within the local community in Camden, NJ.
The Wellness Program Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all Wellness Program initiatives with support from the larger team of staff and volunteers. The coordinator will serve as the point of contact with partners and volunteers and report to the Wellness Director.
The Wellness Center mission is to help reduce the impact of toxic stress on children/families. This is implemented through our Wellness Model: Eat Well, Live Well, Do Well which promote healthy lifestyles through a holistic framework. The Wellness Program Coordinator is an integral part of the Wellness Team, providing direct support to the Wellness Director in assuring all programming and initiatives are coordinated and program goals are achieved. The Wellness Program Coordinator is responsible for the administration of said programming.
