Our summer camps are made for kids to be kids! We make the most of the summer through exploratory learning, outdoor activities, arts, recreation, and a variety of field trips. Campers build friendships, find role models, and make memories to last a lifetime.
Summers to Remember

Social Engagement

We support the development of positive social bonds between peers and with their teenage StreetLeaders throughout the program.

Physical Activity

From our high-energy opening program to our wide variety of recreational games, campers reap all the benefits of physical activity while having fun!

Experiential Learning

Whether we’re exploring nature within our neighborhoods or engaging in science experiments, we find fun ways to keep young minds engaged!

Breakfast & Lunch

All campers have access to breakfast and lunch daily.

Summer Experiences

Summer Carnival

Face painting, carnival games, dunk tank, and snacks, the UrbanPromise summer carnival is a highlight for all campers.

All Camp Day

The summer culminates with the friendly cross-camp competition where every participant puts their best foot forward in the hopes of winning the coveted golden crate.

Weekly Field Trips

Whether it’s roller skating, rock climbing, movies, fishing, paddling or another adventure, our campers enjoy multiple field trips each summer.

Swimming

In partnership with the Kroc Center, we are delighted to offer swimming opportunities for our summer campers.

Cross-Camp Engagement

Kids across our neighborhood camps gather for special activities and events, helping to bridge perceived gaps or differences between neighborhoods.

Core Classes

Art, recreation, STEM, and Bible class keep young bodies and minds engaged every day.

“The kids look at you like you’re their role model. They call me their big brother. I meet the kids’ energy with my own. It’s a natural connection with all the kids.”
